The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) issued a warning about the state of the sea on the coast of Venezuela.
The weather authorities warned that the waves are expected to increase significantly in the next few days, with waves that could reach between 2 and 3 meters high.
This phenomenon, as explained, is due to the intensification of the Alisios winds, the Bermuda-Azore pressure systems, which currently blow from the east-northeast with a speed that ranges between 28 and 40 kilometers per hour.
Raphagas even stronger are planned, especially in the Atlantic area and throughout the coastal line.
Inameh indicated that the situation will persist throughout the week, so the population is recommended to take precautions and remain informed about the climate updates to avoid incidents.
