
The Plaza de Puerto Príncipe became the stage of a day full of music, color and celebration, where children and young people with Down syndrome were the protagonists.

The Fit Dance and voluntary instructor of the Sports Institute, Rosa Velásquez, infected everyone present with her energy, putting small and large to dance in a sample of integration and healthy fun.
As a symbol of support and awareness, all participants proudly wore their disparate socks, a gesture that represents the diversity and uniqueness of people with Down syndrome.

“Since the management of Mayor Manuel Ferreira we have focused on working to make a city of inclusion and these meetings are fundamental to join wills, raise awareness and share without distinctions,” said the president of Social Management, María Cristina Morales.
For the City Hall of Urbaneja, the objective of this activity is to promote spaces that guarantee equal opportunities and well -being of all the inhabitants of the municipality.
