
The head of Government of Caracas (GDC), Nahum Fernández, made Una exhaustive inspection to the spaces of the San Pedro Church, located in the homonymous parish, To verify the work of comprehensive rehabilitation as part of the actions aimed at recovering all the temples of the city, instructed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
In his social networks, Fernández shared images that account for the works in the infrastructure of the capital temple. In this regard, he explained that the GDC teams “carry out a series of large works that include roof rehabilitation and the maintenance of the facade.”
Likewise, the asphalt mantle, followed by waterproofing, will be removed. On the walls and floor, exterior rubber paintings will be applied, and repairs and substitutions of cracked parts will be carried out, in addition to other necessary works. The head of the GDC also highlighted in the publication that these works will benefit 800 families from the point and circle.
“The Church, in its essence, is not only a physical space, but a bastion of hope and unity. Their recovery and maintenance are vital to preserve the Christian, spiritual and social values that unite us. The work we are doing today not only beautifies our environment, but also strengthens community ties and reaffirms our faith, ”added Nahum Fernández.
