
The Board of Industrial Training (BIT) in collaboration with Canadian gold mining concern, GMIN Ventures Guyana Inc, have launched a vocational training initiative at the BIT Centre in Mongrippa Hill, Bartica, Region Seven.
A BIT release stated that the partnership combines BIT’s technical expertise with GMIN Ventures’ financial and operational support to develop comprehensive vocational and technical training programmes. These programmes, it explained, aim to provide competency-based training and certification, enabling individuals to secure entry-level positions and excel in the GMIN Ventures Guyana project and other related operations.
