
Two Grenadian artistes have made it into the semi-finals of the biggest soca show for the carnival season in neighbouring Trinidad & Tobago.
They are reigning soca monarch Dash along with Blaka Dan, a former Groovy King on the Spice Isle.
THE NEW TODAY understands that Blacka Dan and his song called “Blessings” is currently making waves in TNT in the build up to the carnival season.
The two top soca artistes from Grenada are among ten Youth and 20 Ultimate Soca Champion contestants who were selected to move on to the Semi-final round of the competition which will take place on Sunday, February 9 at the Naparima Bowl Amphitheatre San Fernando.
The finals are on Thursday, February 20th at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The following artistes will compete in the semi-final for a chance at the crown of the Ultimate Soca Champion 2025, and the grand prize of $1,000,000.
