During his multiplatform program Maduro Live suddenly, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered the creation of self -government rooms for the strengthening of the communal government, establishing one of each of the 5,334 existing communal circuits, with the objective of Consolidate a direct management model between communities and the national government.
“The popular self -government rooms must exist, to have direct contact with the Government. They must be in the 5,334 communal circuits,” he emphasized.
Additionally, the Head of State reiterated his vision of communal organization in Venezuela, proposing that within two years the country reaches the goal of 6 thousand communes fully structured.
To lead this effort, the president assigned to the Executive Vice Presidency, under the direction of Delcy Rodríguez, the responsibility of supervising the functioning of these rooms and the correct management of resources.
Finally, President Nicolás Maduro questioned the criticisms from some leftist sectors that objected to the transfer of power to the communes, reaffirming their conviction in the self -government model as a fundamental pillar for the territorial organization and sustainable development of the country.
