
Caracas.- This Monday, President Nicolás Maduro made a comment about the Grammy winners and what is hidden behind these awards.
“That photo is for a Grammy,” said the head of state in reference to the image of a very long tail in a voting center this Sunday during the national popular consultation.
However, he indicated that if the Grammy rewarded photographs, they would not give an award to such a photo, which shows the joy of the people, because “they only give it to those who with the USAID pay, which serves the empire,” he said during The transmission of its “Maduro Live Suddenly” program.
The first national president clarified, also, that “except exceptions, there are very meritorious people who have Grammy and congratulate them from here.”
This Sunday, the Rawayana band won a Grammy. As is known, this group is linked to the extreme right and the sponsorship of organisms such as the USAID and NED, which used their resources for – through alleged musical festivals – seek the destabilization of Venezuela.
