The technological giant Google changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico for that of the Gulf of America in Google Maps, following the decree of the US president, Donald Trump, issued shortly after his second term started.

“I took this measure in part because, as stated in that order, the area previously known as the Gulf of Mexico has long been a comprehensive asset for our once flourishing nation, and has continued to be an indelible part of the United States,” Trump said then.
