This Wednesday, Julio León Heredia was appointed as the new Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The national president said that León Heredia has done a great job after performing as governor of the Yaracuy state since December 2008.
“From Yaracuy to the big leagues,” said the head of state after his appointment.
It should be noted that Heredia has been governor of Yaracuy state four times.

– Configure the concept of regenerative, agroecological and productive agriculture, to produce organic foods for Venezuelans.
– Replace all imports, under the slogan “Zero Import”, and develop the export vocation.
