The Jordanian Royal Family celebrates with great joy the birth of Amina, the first daughter of Princess Iman de Jordan and her husband, Jameel Alexander Themiotis, a Venezuelan of Greek descent.
The happy news was announced by Queen Rania de Jordan this Sunday, February 16, through her Instagram social network, where she shared her emotion and gratitude for the arrival of the new family member.
“My dear magnet is now a mother. We are grateful and delighted to meet Amina, the new blessing of our family. Congratulations Jameel and Iman – may God bless your beautiful girl,” Queen Rania wrote, accompanying the message with emotional images relatives who capture love and happiness at this special moment.
The amine name, of Arab origin, has a deep and symbolic meaning within the Islamic culture. Derived from the “Amin” root, which translates as “commander” or “prince”, this name evokes integrity and righteous values.
In her feminine form, Amina translates as “princess” or “lady”, transmitting the idea of a person who inspires confidence and respect. In addition, it has a strong historical weight, since it was the name of the mother of the prophet Muhammad.
