Longtail Learning is planning on an initiative to offer free summer tutoring in Math and English for Bermuda students and is now accepting tutor and student sign-ups.
A spokesperson said, “At Longtail Learning, we recognize that the high cost of traditional tutoring services in Bermuda creates significant barriers for many students. As a result, a large number of our youth are unable to access the academic support and mentorship they require. Our initiative seeks to close this gap by providing free tutoring to students who need assistance in Math and English, specifically at the Middle School and IGCSE levels.
About the Program
“As we prepare to launch our Summer 2025 Tutoring Initiative, we are thrilled to announce that we are now accepting sign-ups from both tutors and students who are passionate about supporting Bermuda’s youth.
“Tutors will be offered comprehensive training and preparation to ensure they feel confident and supported as they step into their roles. Tutors will offer walk-in sessions for real-time academic support, as well as scheduled one-on-one tutoring.
“This summer, we aim to accommodate 15-20 students, who will receive one-on-one tutoring from SCARS-certified university-aged Bermudians. Tutoring will be available both in person and online; session scheduling will depend on the tutor and student’s availability.
“If you are a student seeking support, or a tutor interested in making a difference, we invite you to sign up by visiting our website: https://longtaillearningbda.weebly.com/.”
