
Paramaribo – The chairman of the Van de Brotherhood and unity in politics (BEP), Ronny Asabina, will be the leader in the elections on 25 May. This decision was taken during a general members’ meeting, the political party announces in a press release on Tuesday.
Asabina was nominated by the Central Board on Saturday and this decision was also approved by the cores present and other bodies of the party. Furthermore, Lorsoo Mando and Sinclair Westenburg have ratified by the GMM as the party members of the party. Asabina says it is, together with all the organs, for the maximum seat gain to make Suriname healthy again.
