Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo Este City Council, through its Culture Department, has announced the Santo Domingo Este 2025 Cultural Parade, set for Sunday, March 2, on Venezuela Avenue at 4:00 p.m. The event aims to celebrate the municipality’s cultural heritage, bringing together artistic groups and the community in a vibrant display of identity and folklore.
The parade will begin at Activo 20-30 and conclude at Las Américas Avenue, featuring over 30 artistic performances, including special guests from the Ministry of Education’s arts programs. The announcement was made at Chencha Espacio Abierto, where Alexis Rosario de los Santos and Soraya Gallardo were crowned as the parade kings.
Attendees can enjoy performances by music bands from the Dominican Navy, Air Force, and National Police, along with the participation of the Municipal Police, Fire Department, and emergency agencies.
