
THIEVES stole a duffle bag containing 28 pieces of lace front wigs from the car of an Arouca man on Wednesday evening.
The wigs were valued at $40,000.
According to the police report, around 6.45 pm on Wednesday, a 35-year-old man parked his red Nissan Versa in a car park near Woodstar Boulevard, Bon Air Gardens, Arouca. He locked all doors and windows before leaving the vehicle.
When he returned to the car around 7.20 pm, he discovered the front passenger door was unlocked.
Upon checking the car, he realised that his Samsung A33 cell phone, valued at $2,200, which he had left in the front cup holder, was missing.
Also missing was a black duffle bag that had been left on the back seat, containing 28 pieces of lace front wigs valued at $40,000 and $4,800 in cash.
