Three concrete utility poles collapsed yesterday along Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown raising further questions about the quality of installation work.
The Guyana Power and Light (GPL) last evening defended the work done.
In a statement on its Facebook page, GPL said that the poles fell at approximately 5.30 pm in front of the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.
