
– No injuries reported in shooting on Wednesday, January 8, 2025
HANNAH’S ESTATE, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is investigating a report of gunshots heard in the Hannah’s Estate area late evening on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Vehicles and an apartment building sustained damages by bullets; however, no one was reportedly injured.
“Upon receiving the report, officers immediately responded to the scene. Several vehicles in the vicinity were found to have sustained damage from what appeared to be gunshots. Officers also observed damage to an apartment building in the area.
“A search of the scene and surrounding areas was conducted; however, no projectiles, spent shells, or bullet fragments were recovered. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident,” the RVIPF stated in a press release on January 13, 2025.
Public’s help needed- RVIPF
Police said the residents of the affected apartment have been provided with the necessary support and assistance from the RVIPF.
Police investigations into this matter are ongoing and the RVIPF is appealing to the public for any information that could assist with the investigation.
