
The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, on behalf of Venezuela, congratulated this Saturday the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibout, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, who is now the new president of the African Union Commission.
Through his telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister also wrote that the homeland of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, joins the joy of Mother Africa for the election of the new president of the African Union Commission.
Then, Yván Gil, citing President Nicolás Maduro, stressed that “Africa and Venezuela are brothers of blood, history and future. Together we will overcome the chains of imperialism.”
Finally, the chancellor in his brief congratulated Mahamoud Ali Youssouf for his new task and wished that his management before the African Union commission strengthens the south-south cooperation ties.
