The first winning ticket for this year’s Lotto jackpot was purchased in Santa Cruz, marking a major win for a lucky player, who is now $18 million richer.
According to the National Lottery Control Board (NLCB), the winning ticket for Saturday’s $18 million jackpot was purchased the same day at an NLCB Lottery Center located at Christian’s Mini Mart, LP#92 Bourg Mulatresse, Lower Santa Cruz.
This year’s Lotto Jackpot started at $8.4 million, rolling over from 2024.
The prize eventually grew to an impressive $18,044,066.08, with no winners in January.
The country’s newest Lotto Plus millionaire hit the jackpot with the winning numbers: 13, 19, 21, 22, 32, and the Powerball number 01.
Tomorrow’s Lotto jackpot starts afresh with a minimum guaranteed Jackpot of $2 million.
