
Paramaribo – Rashad Novruz, Azerbaijan ambassador for Suriname, sees many possibilities between the two countries when it comes to trade and investments. During his working visit to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation (EZ), he emphasized the potential for improving cooperation in various areas, including economics, food security and the oil and gas sector on Monday.
The ambassador said he looked out for sustainable and mutual partnerships aimed at innovation, economic growth and knowledge sharing. In a press release, EZ reports that the goal of Novruz’s working visit was to further develop bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Suriname. According to the Ministry, “widespread thoughts” was changed about the possible cooperation and issues of mutual importance between the two countries.

Minister Rishma Kuldipsingh said he was looking forward to investments, especially in entrepreneurship, among other things. She emphasized the importance of developing small and medium -sized companies (SMEs) in Suriname, because she believes they are the backbone of the economic development of the country. Kuldipsingh expects the two countries to continue their good relationship and support each other, especially in the economic and trade.
During the working visit of Novruz and his delegation, on Monday, director Karishma Mathoera (entrepreneurship) and the (acting) sub -directors Rinaldo Jangi (entrepreneurship), Shailesh Ramsingh (international trade) and Amit Chandansingh (industry).
