Leon Marks, a 62-year-old security guard of Lot 214 Hoppie Street, Dartmouth Village, Essequibo Coast, who was one of the bikers who died in the fiery accident on Friday around 6:40pm at Perth, Essequibo Coast, was heading home at the time, his sister, Magzene Stewart, said.
Stewart of Anna Regina told Stabroek News on Monday that she, along with others, were trying to view the CCTV camera that was located at a nearby supermarket to see exactly what happened but was informed that the camera was not functional.
Stewart further related that she doesn’t know exactly what happened because she was at home when she received a call that evening from a friend informing her that her brother had been involved in an accident. She said she immediately called another friend from Anna Regina to take her to the accident scene.
