The mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, expressed her joy and welcomed the attendees “in the name of the National Government together with the popular power, we began this historical parade of every year. What joy we have started this parade of the floats, here we will see the representation of the creativity of the parishes, the institutions, of the individual costumes, of the bands, of the floats and comparsas, we will see the wonders of the town of Caracas and the Guaira ”.
He emphasized that there are four consecutive years with the participation of the La Guaira state, and thanked Governor José Alejandro Terán and the mayor, José Manuel Suárez for the consecutive presence in the parade.
The head of Government of Caracas, Nahúm Fernández, stressed that the Carnival of Caracas changed forever, before there was no cultural and recreational agenda, so the carnival in Caracas was born with our traditions. ”
Fernández, congratulated the Board Carnestolenda 2025 “because what we are going to see here is pure Venezuelan creativity, our carnivals do not resemble those of other countries, our carnivals are Venezuelans and ours is the best (…) Happy Carnival 2025, which Long live Caracas!”.
The Living Carnival Venezuela 2025, seek to guarantee the enjoyment of the Caracas families of the 22 parishes of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality of Caracas, visitors of the interior of the country, as well as visitors from abroad, and boost the right to recreation of children, youth and adults and promote national identity with Venezuelan traditions.
