This Monday, the wife of former Democratic senator Bob Menéndez, Nadine Menéndez, was declared guilty of participating in the plot made by her husband accepting large bribes.
A New York Court found guilty of the fifteen positions he faced, including bribery, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to make her husband an agent of Egypt, according to local media.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the woman exercised a fundamental role in the ex -senator’s bribes that tried to hide after discovering that she was being investigated by the federal authorities.
The judge of the case, Sidney Stein, set Nadine’s judgment for next June 12. Some of the charges that face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
