
Grenada’s Investment Migration programme has directly contributed over US$1.6 billion to Government’s revenues during the past 10 years of its operations, which has significantly impacted growth within the Grenadian economy.
The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join the expanding team of the Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Grenada as a Processing Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Maintain and demonstrate understanding of all Acts and regulations governing the CBI Programme, as well as the core functions of the Agency
- Supervise the end-to-end processing of all applications for Agents and Projects, within the specified timeframe and in compliance with established processes and procedures
- Supervise the assignment of applications to Officers ensuring that accepted applications are compliant with the submission checklist
- Provide guidance and support to Processing Officers to resolve issues, especially for complex and/or escalated cases, while upholding the integrity of the CBI programme
- Supervise the workload and performance of Processing Officers, ensuring that timelines are met and that all procedures and standards are consistently adhered to for the end-to-end processing of all applications
- Supervise the processing of certificates and follow up with Home Affairs on outstanding submissions, always ensuring a high level of accuracy
- Manage the processing of approvals, denials, withdrawals, switch requests, additions and name changes in a timely manner
- Respond to queries from Local Agents on policies and processes pertaining to citizenship applications
- Monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set for areas of responsibility and assume accountability for the achievement of those KPIs
- Conduct performance reviews of Direct Reports according to the established procedure and schedule, ensuring that feedback is ongoing throughout the year
- Conduct training in areas of responsibilities, in consultation with the HR Department ensuring that the training leads to development of competences required for exceptional performance of Direct Reports
The preferred mix of qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, General Management, Business Administration or related area, or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
- Professional training in project/ process management, protocol and other relevant fields
- Certification in Supervisory Management
- At least 3 years’ leadership/supervisory experience in a service organisation where deadlines are firm, and compliance is critical will definitely be an asset
