
Jamaica ended their second round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers with a perfect record as they defeated Guatemala 3-0 earlier tonight at the National Stadium to finish atop Group E standings.
Goals from Jonathan Russell in the 26th minute and a Warner Brown brace in the 37th and 73rd minutes led the way to Jamaica’s victory.
Jamaica end the group with a perfect 12 points tally, three ahead of Guatemala who finished second on nine.
Jamaica and Guatemala will advance to the third round of qualifiers with the group stage draw set to be held on Thursday.
