Kern Summerville and the Sensational Band are the 2025 Brass Bacchanal champions, claiming the $100,000 grand prize.
A release from the National Carnival Commission this morning confirmed that Summerville and his band secured victory with 358 points.
D All Starz placed second with 349 points, while Brass 2 The World finished close behind in third with 348 points.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Band took fourth place with 341 points, and the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service Band rounded out the top five with 318 points.
A total of ten bands competed in the finals, which were held last night at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The Brass Bacchanal competition was established by the NCC to revitalise the brass element in Carnival celebrations.
