According to Sánchez, this initiative seeks to channel the opposition unit beyond partisan limits, turning neighborhood force into an inclusive and representative platform.
He stressed that the electoral proposal of neighborhood force is not limited to its militants, but includes young people, women, professionals, workers and businessmen. “We have wanted neighborhood force to be a platform for neighbors, whatever the area in which they develop, are in positions of popular representation, putting the interests of Venezuelans above the partisan interest,” he said.
In the face of the elections on May 25, Sanchez stressed that the neighborhood force card seeks to materialize a solid and monolithic opposition unit throughout the national territory. “It doesn’t matter in which part of the country you are, a Venezuelan citizen, a neighbor, you can find on the neighborhood force card the possibility of achieving change in each state, with governors, deputies and representatives in the legislative councils and the National Assembly,” he added.
The candidate also expressed concern about the management of the national budget, highlighting the importance of a parliamentary fraction committed to reorienting resources towards the true needs of the population. “It is essential that the budget focuses on improving workers’ wages, guaranteeing decent pensions for the elderly and structurally addressing the problems of educational infrastructure, health and safety,” he concluded.
With this initiative, neighborhood force is positioned as a platform that seeks to represent the interests of Venezuelans and promote structural solutions for the country’s challenges.
