This Thursday, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced an investigation against the Cryptocurrency Investment HV ijex platform for alleged scam.
In this way, the National Prosecutor’s Office was assigned with competence in common crimes.
“This investment system was structured as a Ponzi scheme and was subsequently disconnected generating patrimonial damage to multiplicity of victims, which made investments in cryptocurrencies,” Saab said.
The highest authority of the public body did not mention the number of people affected and neither numbers of patrimonial damage.
