
Nu University He announced the closure of four of its academic centers, located in Carolina, Yauco, Fajardo and Moca, a decision that will enter into force on October 31.
The decision was made to “maximize resources,” the institution said.
“Structural decisions were made that include registration cessation in four of the 28 technical education centers that the institution has. This has the objective of maximizing resources more efficiently and ensuring that each student receives a quality post -secondary education that directs it to their labor transition”said NUC in written statements.
They will stop operating Nu University – CCU Carolina, Nu University – CCU Yauco, Nu University – Technical Division IBC Fajardo and Nu University – Technical Division IBC Moca.
In March 2023, NUC completed the corporate consolidation of Columbia Central University (CCU) operations. The latter, at the time of starting the merger, It had four enclosures in Bayamón, Caguas, Carolina and Yauco.
NUC reported that “he has made reform determinations to solidify and expand offers to his students.”
After the closures, the institution will still have a presence in some of these municipalities. In Carolina, NUC has its Escorial enclosure, while, in Yauco, Nu University is maintained – IBC Technical Division.
However, graduates from the center of Fajardo who require information or registrar services must communicate to Nu -University of Rio Grande, and those of Moca may go to Nu University – IBC Mayagüez technical division.
