All taxpayers owed up to $25,000 in individual tax refunds will soon be paid, according to Finance Minister Colm Imbert.
Imbert said the refunds will benefit more than 87,000 people, at a cost of $246 million.
Imbert made the announcement via his personal account on social media platform X:
“I have just requested the Board of Inland Revenue to issue INDIVIDUAL TAX REFUNDS for ALL taxpayers owed up to $25,000 in refunds. This will cost $246 million and will assist over EIGHTY SEVEN THOUSAND (87,000) persons who have been waiting patiently on their tax refunds”
