
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As part of October’s Cancer Awareness Month of activities, some members of the government were photographed today, October 27, 2023, in shades of pink as they demonstrated their support for breast cancer awareness.

Rymer (R5); Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, Honourable Sharie B. de Castro(AL); Deputy Premier and Minister for Financial Services, Labour and Trade, Honourable Lorna G. Smith (AL) OBE; and Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).
They each wore a shade of pink during their Cabinet session today.
In a global effort to raise awareness on breast cancer, October has been designated as the Pink Month by the World Health Organization.
In October, there is also heightened awareness around efforts to educate those concerned about breast cancer, including early identification and signs and symptoms associated with breast cancer.
