The next president or president owned by the Puerto Rico University (UPR) must be able to represent and expose to the institution in the international arena, have the power to call, be “especially compromised” in strengthening and expanding the research and creative work function, and having the ability to understand, analyze and manage ”the fiscal situation of the university system.
