
Apura – The Apura police have seized 650 liters of Gasoline, two hundred liters of diesel, a number of gas cylinders and ninety slippers cigarettes after checking a shop in Washabo. After coordination with the Public Prosecution Service, the case was handled out of trial. The 49-year-old shopkeeper MR and her husband WR (42), who violated the Economic Offenses Act, were sent after paying a hefty fine, reports the Suriname police police on his website.
WR and his 27-year-old neighbor MS have also violated the Firearms Act. A non-registered shotgun was found at WR. MS had a shotgun without a valid firearm authorization. These violations were also handled outside of process.
